About Us
helena acadmy specializes in the cultivation of youth musical/theatre talents, and the creation and production of musicals suitable for youth themes. Over the years, the company has received more than 100 awards at various levels for its rehearsals and performances. In 2019, the original musical XCHANGE went to the Edinburgh Festival to participate in the exhibition, and was awarded the Grand Prize for International Cultural Exchange (the only award-winning work in the theater category) by the Eurasian Exchange Association;
In 2023, the original Chinese classic drama “Journey to the West” went to Edinburgh Festival again to participate in the exhibition, praised by the Chinese Embassy in the United Kingdom cultural officials, the former Mayor of Edinburgh, the Royal Conservatory of Music of Scotland Professor, etc., the performance was incorporated into the Guangdong Provincial Education Publishing House in the preparation of the junior high school of compulsory education in the “Drama” section of the national teaching material examples.
Since its establishment, the troupe has successfully produced a number of English musicals for young people, which are the original Broadway licensed productions staged in Shenzhen:' Seussical', 'The Wizard of Oz', 'Orphan of the Mist',' The Magic Tree House',' Peter Pan', 'Madagascar';London West End original licensed production: 'The Children of Eden';World Classics Adaptation Original Plays: 'Alice in Wonderland', 'The Little Princess'.Chinese classic original series of original plays: “Metamorphosis”, “Journey to the West” and so on.
 HELENA ACADEMY takes stage art and drama education as its core, and is an experiential drama education platform centered around the appreciation, creation, exchange and training of drama. Currently, it is an official examination center and course authorization unit of Trinity College London (TRINITY) and a global authorized cooperative unit of Dramatic English course system. It is also an authorization unit of the New Era certificate course in the UK.
